As a school, we recognise that school uniform can be expensive for families. As such, we aim to keep our policy as simple as possible.

We appreciate the support of families in ensuring that their children follow our uniform policy as the smart appearance of our pupils helps create an atmosphere of belonging.

None of the uniform needs to be branded with the school logo and can be purchased from most uniform suppliers or supermarkets. However, sweatshirts and cardigans can be purchased via the school office with the school logo on if desired.

In addition to this, the office also sell branded satchels and drawstring bags for sports kit. These are not obligatory.

Do please ensure that all clothes and belongings are clearly labelled with your child's name.

All items are individually costed and paid for via the MCAS App.

Our uniform consists of:

  • An optional bottle green sweatshirt or cardigan;

  • White shirt / blouse / polo shirt;

  • Grey or black trousers / shorts / skirt;

  • Green & white gingham dress in the summer;

  • Predominately black footwear.

For indoor Physical Education (P.E.), our uniform consists of:

  • Black shorts and a white t-shirt;

  • No footwear.

For outdoor Physical Education (P.E.), our uniform changes dependent on the weather (or season):

  • Shorts / jogging bottoms / tracksuit bottoms;

  • T-shirt / sweatshirt / hoodie;

  • Trainers.

No jewellery should be worn at school. If children have pierced ears, only studs can be worn at school and these must be removed for the day on which the child does PE. If this is not possible, medical tape or a plaster must be used to cover them.

There is a limited supply of second-hand uniform available in school. This has been quality-assured and laundered. Please ask at the office for details.

We also supply an item of our branded school sweatshirts or cardigans to those families entitled to Free School Meals each academic year.
